Centermount Coal Ltd. based out of Vancouver hired Savage Marketing to act as their Public Relations agency in the Elk Valley for a proposed metalurgical coal mine. Public perception of Bingay Creek Mine project is critical to the projects success and demanded strategic communication.

The brand and the core values statement were created to reflect the history and integrety of the project. Established and executet an integrated communications plan that reaches the target audiences with consistent messaging that supports environmental policy and economic and social benefits.

The communications plan will utilized public presentations, video, traditional media and press kits, as well as social media and blogs.

Common activities include implementing planned programs of action, working with the media, crisis strategy, and social media engagement.

Oversee budgeting, development and execution of communications and promotional materials.
Provide communications leadership to the team; coach and develop staff to meet and exceed expectations. Ensure depth within the team to meet current and future business needs.
Assist with the development and implementation of external global marketing materials and communications.
